Designing Cuckoo Based Pending Interest Table for CCN Networks

<p class="JESTECAbstract">Content Centric Networking (CCN) is a modern architecture that got wide attention in the current researches as substitutional for IP-based architecture. Many studies have been investigated on this novel but only little of them focused Pending Interest Table (PIT) which very important component every CCN router. PIT has fundamental role packet processing both upstream process (Interest packets) and downstream (Data packets). must be fast enough order to not become an obstruction also it big save lot incoming information. In paper, we suggest new design implementation named CF-PIT Our depends modifying utilizing approximate data structure called Cuckoo filter (CF). ideal characteristics like: high insertion/query/deletion performance, acceptable storage demands false positive probability make with our modification convenient implementation. The experimental results showed performance different side views suitable implemented routers.</p>
